| Quote: | Tuesday 25th March 2008 - Astoria, London
Saturday 29th March 2008 - Academy, Birmingham
Sunday 30th March 2008 - Academy, Newcastle
Monday 4th April 2008 - Academy, Manchester |
These are the dates going around. The newcastle one is on ticketweb already with an onsale date of September 4th. Assuming the others will be the same day.
Rather annoying as I will be nowhere near a PC that week and NW at the Astoria will sell out in a nanosecond. I REALLY did not expect them to be playing a smaller venue like that anymore - assumed it would be Brixton at least. _________________

The Manchester one is Friday 4th April, it's listed on the Manchester Academy gig guide.
Looks like there's a few gaps between gigs there, I expect the full list of dates will be quite a bit longer... _________________

At the risk of being predictable, all those dates are complete arse.
Or at least the venues are. It's not a UK tour if . . .yadayadayada
you know the script.

These are only the first dates, I'd imagine there will be a glasgow date around that week at some point.
I'd like to do Birmingham, but Prog Power III is on that weekend and they deserve my cash more than Nightwish do, and also have more bands that rarely play the UK and I haven't seen yet. I shall possibly go for London, altho the last time I saw them at the Astoria the sound was awful, it was too fucking hot and the crowd were a bunch of total gimps. _________________

Mwuhahahahaha
Now confirmed on the main site:
03/25/2008 Astoria London UK
03/29/2008 Carling Academy Birmingham UK
03/30/2008 Carling Academy Newcastle UK
03/31/2008 ABC1 Glasgow UK
04/02/2008 Mandela Hall Belfast UK
04/03/2008 Vicar Street Dublin Ireland

Finally . . . .
Still no dates in Wales though.
WOOT for Glasgow

I'm surprised to see them booked into the Academy 2 in Manchester since they nearly filled the main Academy which is roughly twice the size of the Academy 2 a few years back and they only seem to have gotten more popular since... _________________

I'm sure it'll receive a hearty upgrade to Academy 1. Assuming Academy 1 is now back operational!!
Any word on when tickets go on sale?
*edit* quite a few dates on ticketmaster already it seems... _________________

The main Academy re-open a while back yeah, I've not been there since it re-opened myself though... seem to find myself mostly going to gigs either at smaller venues or Rios these days... _________________
